Racy Richard Grieco took the fast lane to TV stardom when he kicked in to 21 Jump Street just a season or two ago as a rebel cop, Dennis Booker. Didn't take long `till he jump started into his own show, Booker. Cool cookie Richard had his searing brown eyes in the bigger screen for quite a while - and now that he's finished with Booker, he's getting the chance to be a movie star. As you're reading this, sexy Richard's up in Montreal, Canada - which isn't too far from the New York burg of Watertown where he grew up - starring in this first big film!

If Looks Could Kill... is the name the movie's been shot under, but that may change by its spring '91 release. Under any name, however, the action-adventure-comedy-romance is bound to be a kille for all Richard's fans. Here's the scoop!

He plays Michael Corben, a young man from Detroit who accidentally gets caught up in a case of mistaken identity and is drawn into a web of espionage, adventure and romance. We caught up with Richard to find out why he decided to star in this movie. Here's what he said: "I thought it would be great to do a comedy and show people I can do other roles besides the rebel bad boy. I play a vulnerable guy who gets caught up in a situation he has no control over. He never took much responsibility before, but he was forced to grow up and become a man very fast!"

Besides it's comical fish-out-of-water premise, the movie features lots of special effects and even more romance - supplied by Richard (natch!) and actress Carole Davis. But before you even start thinking of an offsreeen attraction, let 16 be the first to nix it. In fact, since Richard's break-up with Kimber Sissions, he's happily single and available.
