Johnny Depp Article 2
Revelaing A Past Wife

Johnny Depp during the 21 Jump Street days.

Johnny Depp's past wife - the woman he married when he was just 20 years old - has finally been revealed.

She is sexy, 30 year-old musician(?) Lori Anne Allison.

The lovebirds tied the knot on Christmas Eve, 1983, before the 21 Jump Street star moved to Hollywood from Florida.

But the marriage ended in divorce less than three years later - at Lori Anne's request.

Lori Anne, who lives a few minutes away from her ex-husband in a three bedrooom apartment she shares with two male roommates in Hollywood, was reluctant to talk about her life with the TV heartthrob.

"We are still very close," she said "We have a good relationship."

Even though 25-year old Depp have not talked much about his ex-wife, he did admit: "I get along better now with her than I did before."

The marriage did produce a valuable contact that helped get him into movies and TV - Nicholas Cage. Lori Anne dated the star of Moonstruck, and when Cage met his gal pal's former husband, he decided Depp had something special.

He introduced Depp to his agent, and Depp's career was soon on the right track. According to a friend of Depp from his rock band days: "The problem was she went off to New York on business, and Johnny was over in California. The long-distance romance just didn't work out."

Depp still recalls the sadness of his marriage breakup. "It was the kind of thing where I just ran into it pretty blind," he says. "And I found out - you know, you learn a lot."

Depp's now love is a Hollywood actress named Sherlyn Fenn, a performer who has appeared on his show.

"She just did an episode of the show recently," Depp says. "I met her in Los Angeles. We worked on an American Institute short film togther."

But Depp learned his lessons from his first broken marriage - and won't be moving too fast.

"You have to be comfortable with yourself, otherwise, you end up fighting like cats and dogs," he says.

"It's hard to live with someone you don't know. That's why people live together now before they get married. It's not a bad idea."

Taken from a magazine long ago.
I read from the internet that Lori Anne Allison worked as a make-up artist and an assistant To Christina Applegate on the movie Don't Tell Mom The Baby-Sitter's Dead.
